1000 Lot Ditawarkan

On 16 June, my dad was experiencing stroke-like symptoms and was delirious and unable to support himself sitting up. We rushed him to PPUM and they said that it was due to sepsis caused by a wound infection on his foot (he is diabetic). They recommended amputation of the toe, but we decided to get a second-opinion and once they stabilised him we self-discharged. We then went to GH for a week, where they tried an alternative method of treatment whereby we had to go for daily injections. The process really drained him out and he was suffering from incontinence. However, on 25 June, he complained of difficulty in breathing. We rushed him to PPUM and they said he was critical, with oxygen of 86% and heart failure. They admitted him after stabilising him, which turned into a 4-week stay. They also amputated his toe. He is now discharged but we are grappling with the hospital bill of almost RM10,000. We also need to spend RM11 a day on 2 specific pills (RM330 a month), and RM30 a week on dressing (RM120 a month). The rest of the medication was supplied by PPUM for 2 months, so from August we will need to spend a further RM800 a month on medication. Therefore total would be RM10,000 (hospital) + RM1,250 (medication). We also buy 1 packs of pampers a week (RM160 a month). My father is a kind man who never seeks for help, and was generous to many when he could. He has battled 3 forms of cancer, and a quadruple bypass and a mild stroke. At the age of 74 he fell victim to a financial scam which wiped out his life savings. An trusted person was running a ponzi scheme, which my dad unfortunately invested in. Hence his EPF is dry. He cannot do a police report because the person already left Malaysia so no point for him to do a police report. He still works part time in order to feed us. I have a low paying job while completing my degree which is RM1500 salary, and hope to secure financial freedom soonest. I'm the only child and my age is 33 years old. Meanwhile we need some aid to tide us over for these few months. Even food daily is a struggle now, with priority being given to buying medication. Donations in the form of the medication photo'd is also alternatively appreciated.

My dad had previous surgeries in 2015, 2016 etc and he self paid as was working full time at that time. The cost back then RM30,000. My dad is still working as engineer (part time) and used to earn RM10,000 before he got sick but he only earned that if he work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, for a month. Unfortunately less when he was sick. Like last month his payment is RM5000. This month unsure if will get anything. When my dad discharged from the hospital, PPUM does not require full payment, only deposit. However they have already started sending reminders to our house. For now the bill just under 10k.

Yes ongoing treatment:

1. Got medication for 2 months from hospital, but after 2 months will need to start buying
2. Have to buy rivaroxaban. 1 pill is RM8.60. So 1 week is RM60.20. 1 month about RM250.
3. Have to buy dapagliflozin. 1 pill is RM2.50. So 1 week is RM17.50. 1 month about RM75
4. As I am on diuretics I have incontinence. So I buy pampers, but I try to reuse, so 1 pack a week - RM28.50.
5. 2x a week I go to wound care in PPUM for dressing - RM15 per visit
6. I have appointments with RUKA (free) and orthopedics (RM30) and psychiatry (RM30) depending on when they request me to go.
